Weekend wrapup: It was a busy one!

Wolf and I made the decision to sell the motorcycle. We hadn't been able to afford to deck it out in a way to make it comfortable for both of us to ride on it together and we needed the cash. Wolf put it online Thursday and it sold Friday. Unfortunately while helping the guy put the bike into his truck bed Wolf took a tumble and scratched and ( Read more... )

oh LUSH at perimiter! good to know. There's one here at the Galleria, but before I moved to ST Louis it was online ordering for me (I'm a LUSHaholic too - I love their snow fairy, it smells so good)

If you like lush have you tried BPAL? ( http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com ) I loooove their perfume oils but have been so good about buying lately. Perhaps I shall make a splurge soon.

Also, how did you get involved in CITC? I'd love to volunteer for somewhere like that in the atl area, but I'm more suited towards doggies I think.

Yes, Perimiter will be very convienient to your new home, and they have an actual LUSH store and a section in the beauty department in the Macy's in Perimiter mall too. There's also the same in Lennox mall (a great mall for people watching as it is full of high end stores).

I've smelled BPAL but never purchased anything. I just don't wear perfume very often. I've had the same tiny bottle of rose oil for 4 years. *lol*

I actually found CITC online through VolunteerMatch.org, but since then I've found this site: http://www.spotsociety.org/atl_shelter_list.htm

It's got a TON of local rescue groups listed on it, and you can see who's in your area.

Yay! One of the things about moving to Atlanta, is I want to actually get out and do stuff more, not only for Friday night movie date night (which will probably change to Friday night doing stuff and exploring night for a while, unless there's a movie we *really* want to see) ...

Also, about the berry patch.. see, I'm terrified of snakes, to the point of passing out/hyperventilating if I see one in person (even if it's in a cage, whatever, I'm just that freaked out by snakes). I've always been apprehensive about picking out in the country like that, because of that crippling fear. Am I just being stupid? Are there probably no snakes hiding in the bushes? lol

It's actually a farm - so it's all developed around it. The grounds were well mowed and there where lots of people. Not snake friendly. I'm terrified of flying (or jumping) bugs and I was actually in the bushes with my back against the center trunk picking berried from the bottoms of the branches. They are like small trees, not low to the ground brushes.
