My partner just sent me her set of IEPs..
I was kind enough to ask her to do 7 pupils while I do 8..
and she sent me oni 4 saying that she can't think of any goals for the other 3 since 1 has never come to
school before, 1 came oni once and 1 is a new student..and that her eyes are closing soon!!!

omg seriously please don't do it for her!!! Make her sit next to you and re-do it, don't care about her ego! I know she's new and she's not been to NIE yet but setting goals like this simply shows she hardly put any thought (or heart, for that matter) into it at all! In fact, this is even more inexcusable BECAUSE she is new, cos you should be more enthusiastic and eager to learn! You should have more passion at least, right??

ya...precisely!..*sigh* I vetted halfway till 3plus and then decided I shall not do it, sent her an email and told her to ammend then print..BUTTTTT..she din do it and when it was time to hand in,
she: "Erh, then mine how?"
me: "Then die la..wat to do now..just hand it la.."
she: "But you said it's too general?"
me: "But can we do bout it, u die la..the most, ganna rejected then u gotta re-do"

before that, she said to me (regarding the email I sent her):
she: "Erh, my IEPs too general meh?Very specific aredy wat?"
me: "You call that detailed? *rolled eyes* nolah, where got! u tell me
how you wait respectfully??" Told you aredy the goals must be
catered to their needs..(by this time my voice went up sliiiightly
aredy so I just turned away coz i cld feel my blood gushing to my
head aredy!hahaha)"

besides asking qns, there are past documents (e.g. previous yr's IEPs) she can refer to, so saying "i really dunno" is no excuse lor

oh ya 1 more thing, perhaps u can show her wat u did at NIE so as to pre-empt her that wat she has to do now is just the basic... if basic cant cope then more difficult/detailed stuff (NIE std) wl be worse.

no wonder u looked quite stressed after work yest in the office. she has to learn. mayb give her some examples of the goals you have set then she can phrase properly? is it her phrasing? cos my partner also had some probs, then i guided her abit, after which it was fine.

but yes, she needs to try herself instead of being reliant on you...

I emailed her ALL of the IEPs that I have done, plus under shared folder there are some more examples..And looking at what she sent me, I dun think any rephrasing wld do any good!hahah..so I duno what's wrong..explained to her aredy etc..besides, I dun think she'S thaaaaat dumb la!blechz..mebe she's my 2009 challenge..eehehhe..

and yea, the goals! I know..heh..sooooooo many deadlines ryt! I dun remember having to meet so many deadlines in TGS..oh shit! I keep comparing the 2 schools!hehe..
