Sargon and I went to the annual writers' meeting and Christmas fling on Saturday, toting along for-real homemade cookies. There we gathered for the ritual dirty-santa gift exchange. Man, up until this post, I figured my writing was average, not too bad. Chock-full of Mary Sues taking themselves seriously, but. . . I'm finding my serious writing sounds like this. Oh dear.

I like Sargon's bit on the blindfold. That was just silly. ^_^

If it's any comfort, my pulp writing sounds a lot like my fragment, too, just not so overwrought.

Well, I've got a handful of what-I-do-instead-of-taking-notes-in-class over at miss_mendacious if you want gratuitous crap to poke through. (There's also my deadjournal, but it's old and outdated and not even humorously sucky. )

I like yer writing, though. ^_^ It's fun!
