I haven't been updating much because my brain has been pretty uncooperative.

I'm in a good enough place, emotionally, but the pharmacy switched me to a different generic of Wellbutrin, and a few days later I noticed that I was . . . err . . . not digesting them.  I asked my real doctor -- not the guy at CRS -- if I was right to be as concerned as I  ( Read more... )

I'm on 100 mg of Buproprion twice a day. It's made a big difference.

I've been on it for . . . five years or more now, and it's treated me REALLY well. It worked VERY fast and has stayed effective. I was . . . not pleased about the new generic's suckiness.

You off Wellbutrin sound like me with a migraine! I can't figure out the right words for things!

As much as it sucks while it's going on, I like seeing how brains work around missing words. 'Plate laundry' is up there with 'horse tornado' in my book.

"Doing the plate laundry" is I how I talk sometimes on a normal day, and also I think I am going to use that for dishes, because it totally makes me giggle. :-)

**hugs** I'm just SO glad that you saw the evidence and were able to talk to your doctor about it ASAP -- would have been a lot worse for it to stop working gradually *without* you having a clue.

In future, you can request that your scripts be written for "NOT THAT BRAND," and I strongly advise double-checking that your CRS doc has remembered to do so before you leave the office, to make sure they haven't screwed it up. I advise putting a note on your pharmacy file, too, so that you have fewer potential points of failure -- if they see that brand, if the system works right, it would cue them to call your doctor and get a correct prescription.

So sorry this happened, and while "doing the plate laundry" is both hilarious and clever, I know how scary it is to be a natural wordsmith who finds themselves struggling for words. **gentle hugs**

I'm grateful that it will be temporary for you. Hope the Wellbutrin is back to full strength soon, and that you're feeling better ASAP.
