I get that brain thing all the time, with the fibro fog. It's frustrating as hell. Especially when you end up saying the wrong word. I remember describing a casserole with a biscuit topping... except it came out as "custard" topping. Yeeeeeeahhhhhh....

I have a huuuuuuuge problem with word retrieval on a normal day. I started Wellbutrin back in the spring and it made a pretty positive change in that plus my ability to cope with the Chronic Suck that I inherited from my family. I haven't been on it now for close to a month (hooray for not having the money for meds!) and I can't pull up the most basic of words sometimes. Let me tell you how much that's helping me on tests at school... It's also most likely the reason for the ridiculous dreams and sleep disturbances I've been having lately. I'd love to be back on it but right now it's not an option for me until I can afford to pay for it again. :-/

thank you for talking about this. when i'm feeling ok i stop taking my meds. yes, it's not very bright of me to do so.

i've been having problems with words lately - not being able to come up with someone's name, knowing that i know it, and it just won't come. or at the burrito place i forgot the word guacamole and could only say something that wasn't getting thru when the guy was trying to put guacamole on my burrito. they make that stuff with sour cream, no dairy god-damn-it-people.

must not forget to take the very necessary meds, me. i didn't know about this side effect, thank you.
