He got out last night and has been gone for fifteen or sixteen hours, I think. No sign of him, and now it's pissing rain, and he could be anywhere in the enormous forested drainage area that runs behind our house, that's tangled so thick you can't walk through it

I know how it feels to have a beloved idiot kitty go missing. Many years ago my Dummy escaped and I didn't find him until nearly 2 weeks later. He was very thin and dehydrated but so so happy to see me when I found him. He'd somehow gotten into the empty house next door and couldn't get out. I hope your sweet boy comes back soon and I'm sending every positive homecoming juju thought I can into the universe for you. **hugs**

I remember when my baby got out, he was gone all week-end and I was beside myself. Luckily, the giant dumbass was hiding under a neighbor's bushes shaking like a kitten. all 20 lbs of him. I'll keep him and you in my thoughts. He will come home safe and sound.
