Wait, what? Where did this kitty come from??? She's so cute, WMD eyeballs notwithstanding. No wonder Smooch loves her.
I find myself curious about the natural world in your area. What's spring like there? What sort of birds do you see in your neighborhood? I know the period leading up to summer and the Return of the Death Orb isn't your favorite time of year. Here in the PNW many of us are *so damn glad* to see an end to the constant rain and gray skies that we don't even mind the onslaught of pollen and mold so much.
That's one of the really bad things about the illness, from how you describe it here. You are filled with art and beautiful things that want to pour out of you. We are here, ready to stuff greenbacks into your paint-stained hands. And there's the illness in between us, uncrossable. Damn it.
That's Sif! Tazendra's "sister" we got to be a friend for her when they were both kittens. I've talked about her but I don't post pictures of her much, because mostly all she does is sleep. (She's fifteen, cut the girl a break!) She is also really difficult to photograph, because when she's not sleeping, she's slinking and hiding

This was so interesting. Thank you for taking the time to write it all out! Somehow I had it in my head that although you have African summers and arctic winters, spring and fall were gorgeous. Kind of like the Northwest, where on those days that it's not pouring down rain, it's glorious.
Someday I am going to cross the Rockies so I can see a cardinal. You all probably take them for granted, except maybe in winter!
I looooooove cardinals! :D Other people may take them for granted, but I never do. We had a holly tree (not a bush, a TREE, the thing was as big around as my leg and taller than the house) outside our house when I was a kid, and it attracted cardinals. They're territorial little things, but we had a couple pairs that would visit. They're my possibly-favorite native bird in terms of how pretty they are (the other being the blue jay, which is a GORGEOUS bird, even if they are noisy as fuck

okay, here's something I've been wanting to know. When and how did you learn about/learn how to do the elaborate celtic knotwork stuff you do on your skulls and boxes? I luff the celtic stuff and am laboriously trying to do small bits of it as I have time and interest.
Also, I have an interest in starting a Youtube channel of videos to teach basic artistic techniques to beginners. Is that something you might someday consider being part of (spoon considerations taken under advisement)...?
Ooooh! I'd totally be interested in that, provided I could do it a) without having to cut the footage myself, just produce files, and b) without showing my face, at least until I can wear makeup again. I wouldn't normally care, but this rosacea is a fucking nightmare.I've actually thought about doing those sorts of videos before, but I have no video editing software and no real desire to learn yet another skillset. Rather, I have the desire, but not the time

Meehan is good. There's one other guy- I'm blanking on the name- that is even more mathematical... and when I draft, I use a sort of mutant versi0on of both of them, and then edit to be nifty.
