So, The assassin's seal box I posted about here is coming along. I've got all but the final topcoat on, and after that it's several weeks of drying followed by putting the lining in. That is a crazy long time to wait for pictures! So I thought I would show it off a little now.

They are both awesome. The second one is ridiculous! Love it. Charge for your time. Someone will adore it enough to save up.

Gah, your stuff is beautiful!! And the box? Because of how the light is playing on it, I thought you made a kind of light. Heh. VERY nice!

While imitation gold leaf will tarnish over time (usually pretty damn slowly), the top coat should stop that. If you use a water borne clear as the top coat it can tarnish it a little right then, but when the clear dries it should just remain at that point forever.

You do beautiful work.

It's under a double layer of sealer at the moment and seems to be okay, so that's good.

Both of those are really freaking cool.

For the tattoo/roses box, start with your normal base price and add in fancier materials + headache fee?

I am hoping it will be on Thursday next. I also have some older boxes I'm going to be putting up for sale next week; stuff I liked too much to sell at first, but I'm good with it now.
