Still not the greatest I've ever been, but I'm coping, and am feeling way better than I wasWe got some blackout shades to put up in the bedroom windows, so I've been adjusting to having less light, and now I'm sleeping much more solidly. I still feel like I'll never have a normal sleep schedule again. We both have problems sleeping fairly often,

Good for you. I'd be happy to practice with you if I knew Italian. I do have vague memories of several years of Latin, but dredging it up would be tough. I am looking forward to seeing the new skull. I am sure it will be fabulous.

Jen is an up and coming theatrical director/producer/writer who acts and models on the side, splitting her time between London and her native Edinburgh, who a couple summers ago signed on to AD a stage production in Italy half for the resume boost and half to work on her Italian. She's also got a deliciously morbid sensibility - more than one of her productions in the pipeline are ghost stories - and I have no idea why I haven't introduced you prior to this.

(Don't let her veneer of sophistication fool or intimidate you, she's an ardent lolcat fan too, for example.)

She's going through kind of a rough patch right now, and someone to practice Italian with might be a nice distraction.

As a fellow insomniac ... this, so much. I've stopped talking about my insomnia troubles in some groups because I get bombarded with "Have you tried --" "I always --" "I saw this article --"

I get so low on sleep sometimes I have nervous breakdowns. I'm also every good at doing research on the internet. Do they really think they know something I haven't tried? Especially with suggestions like "warm milk" or "exercise before bed", yeesh.
