So I told you guys I would get pics of the awesome Christmas presents sargon999 got me. Here's one of them. A full-size cast from a Smilodon fatalis skull, complete with tarpit finish.

It's my favorite present I've gotten in a long, long time. Thank you, darling.

I was so so pleased with how they came out. She is SO hard to photograph, my lord, and I've never managed to get pictures of her that really capture her expressions adequately before.

There are more in my Flickr stream featuring her. I got really lucky this time out. Makes me want to try the other cats except they're both too excitable to sit still.

Silly kitty. Pretty, and silly, and I love it when they forget they left their tongues hanging out.

I love the tongue thing. She does it all the time and it's so cute because she's so dark you can REALLY see it. <3

One of our cats is solid black, and we can get her to play so hard sometimes (usually chasing a laser) that she starts panting. I'm pretty sure we got pics, but I don't remember how they turned out.

It is so super cute when they do that, OMG. Mine don't, alas, but I have seen cats do it and it's so adorable.
