So glad I am not the only one who is exhausted and still awake at this ungodly hour.

Oh, jeez, this is early for me. You're so not alone.

I'm fighting my nocturnal instincts to attempt bedtime this early.

Well, see, in my natural state it would be for me, too...but I had to get up this morning so I could teach ESL.

The creepy tower is in Prague! I am going to Prague!

I will probably take pictures of the tower. I may or may not send links of the pictures to you with innocuous titles so that you see them unsuspecting.

Bwahaha!

Seriously, see if you can get pictures of the baby one commenter mentions is ON THE STREET crawling toward the tower! I want to see that!

Another Girl Genius fan! yay! Isn't it fab?

So what do you reckon? The castle is going to be all, "Oh right, sorry, how can I help you?" or is there going to be a twist involving her being Lucretia's lovechild with Klaus (ooh, incest), and therefore not actually a Hetrodyne?

Girl Genius is so awesome. It's really rare that something is that funny and that genuinely complex.

I don't think, narratively, they could pull that twist without shooting themselves in the foot in other subplots. I think she really is a Heterodyne through and through. We've seen too much minute but cumulative evidence to that effect, as well as the big stuff.

Though, really, this is one of the few things about which I can say I have no idea what is going to happen, because they've made the world and the story so complex that at any moment a buried storyline could surface again and change everything.

One wonders how much of this they are making up as they go, and how much they have had scripted from the get-go.

Dude, that's a cool shirt!

She should definitely investigate the wallpaper link; the site's been linked from Brass Goggles, so it'll get a lot of traffic for the next week or so. Worth getting some art up there for free publicity's sake.

I rather thought so, am glad you like.

And I've just dropped a link on that post to the Wallpapers.

Am busy reading the rest of the links now, thankyou for sharing. The lyrics/poem are gorgeous!

Yeah, cadhla's scary good, and it seems absurd that any person should have that much talent paired with that much creative energy. She is incredibly productive.

I am deeply, but in a sweet way, envious.

gomichan (Jesse Hajicek) is one of my absolute favorite people in the online world, and The God Eaters is one of my favorite books. Have you read his Metanoia?

No, no I haven't. It's something I was going to look into when I have more time! He's really inventive.

VERY. Do look into it if you get a spare moment; I'm quite curious to hear what you think! I've found it infinitely worth keeping in the check-this-for-updates list.
