Obviously, you can see that I decided not to exile my dreams to a separate journal. They'll do just fine here. I'm almost sorry, though, because your name suggestions were quite entertaining ( Read more... )

It's always magnets.

Your dreams are a lot more fun than mine. I wish mine were slightly less horror movie and slightly more likely to include hot sex...and not have the hot sex interrupted by an inmpromptu mall trip with swarming rats.

Normally when I go through a phase of really active dreaming, I have a lot of nightmares. I'm just grateful that wasn't the case this time. I mean, parts of it genuinely were scary, but overall, it was funny.

And you weren't even the one who had to wake up from it going "I don't remember doing any drugs. . . ."

I've had long, narrative dreams before, but this one was especially silly. I wish I had it on film.

To be honest, I (in the dream) would have preferred oceans of bloodshed and horrific combat to kissing practice.

You want to talk insult to injury . . . damn. There you go.

Is it wrong that I found that whole thing perfectly rational and not in the slightest bit strange, if somewhat outside the realm of what you'd expect to find given the usual rules? I mean, okay, yes- vampires, demons, timetravel, not something that really tends to stick with 'reality' such as it is. But at the same time it feels perfectly acceptable, as if someone said, "Today we'll try a little different sort of reality," and everyone just nodded and went along with it because that sounded just fine.

it's a bit like a slightly bad fantasy novel, but nothing outside the pale of something you'd find for sale at an SF/Fantasy convention.

your brain, Naamah dear, just writes interesting fiction!

That would make an awesome movie. Or novel, even.

Damn, and I just get stuck with dreams about being in a skating cometition and forgetting my skates. :-(

I get dreams like that, too. I just don't bother writing them down.

These are way, way more fun. I wish I knew what triggered them so I could do it all the time.
