Dreams, Dreams Everywhere!

It has reached the operatic point of no return. I am having cool, funny, silly, stupid, or just plain weird dreams nearly every night, sometimes two or three times a night ( Read more... )

I would love to read about your dreams, but why create another journal? This one exists already, and it needs love! :-)

I don't think it much matter whether there is a separate journal or not, but I think daily updates are best. If you wait too long to write dreams down, you forget the details and they seem to fade a bit. Also, if you wait a week, the post will be huge and unwieldy.

A couple nights ago, I had a dream that I attended a party that you threw. I think I am spending too much time on LJ.

I think whatever is easiest for you is probably best - I can see having to write dreams daily becoming kind of tedious, or if you decide to skip a day, inciting a riot among your following. XP

Do you keep a dream journal already, like in a (gasp) notebook? Maybe do that and just pass on to us your favorites, like a highlight reel. :D That would save you some writing, at least.

I used to keep one written, but it's so slow for me to write by hand that it fouled me up. I only tend to record the interesting ones anyway.

I probably wouldn't be updating with dream stuff every day; this period of vivid dreaming is probably temporary. Thank goodness. Because seriously, mandolins + porn, they do not mix.

Wait are we talking mandolins or mandolins!?!?

The first, indubitably. I'd have no idea how to handle the second. Which . . . I've never seen a mandolin like that. It looks like a dulcimer.

(Not that I'm real up on mandolin history, mind you. I know one when I see one, but I can't recite its lineage.)
