I know! I'm very excited. Must remember to delete kitty videos from memory card and bring extra batteries!

Thanks! I just made it today. Yesterday. Whatever. I revamped some of my old icons and while I was at it I added a new one.

I understand so well. I know it is silly but it brings me a soft smile instead of a frown, so although Dad died over 8 years ago, when I open my address book, there is a card marked as "Mom and Dad". There is a separate newer card with my mother's phone, address, contacts and such in it. But Dad still has his card there.
Each year at Samhain, I and mine do a ceremony to say goodbye to those who have passed beyond the veil during the past year. It really helps get past those "stubbed toes".

*hugs and happy holidays*

We do something similar at winter solstice, when the light comes back.

I had to put away my address book; every other page had a name on it of someone who is either dead or moved far away. It became just too painful to actually use it for its intended purpose. And yet, I can't bring myself to remove the entries.

Oh, that's awesome! Thank you!

Beautiful to listen to and to look at. I'd be lying if I said "red" isn't one of my favorite parts of Christmas.

Sigh. I am moving and job hunting. No money and not enough time to make things. Not enough energy either. Damn it.

I've been there. It feels just awful, doesn't it?

The people you'd be making stuff for will doubtless understand, though. (Friends tend to be easier on us than we are on ourselves!)

I dunno about reindeer boys... but I did spot something in the shops the other day...
looked like a perfectly innocent plastic candy cane ornament, at first.

"hmmm" thinks I "this bit looks like it twists on, maybe it lights up"

So I turned it on... and it started vibrating...loudly!
[never switched something off so fast in my life!]
