Panic Noodles!

Jan 13, 2006 02:37

I've been on the edge of a real tearass tweeker all day. I hate this random panic attack shit. For the last couple months I've been okay, but it's starting to slip again, partly because I'm finally coming down off the stress over Christmas, I think. My brain is finally processing everything ( Read more... )

I've been tweeky for a few days, too, to the point where I actually suspect it's an issue with my heart, not my head. I've only been getting the physical symptoms, and they're weirding me out now.

Heart palpitations are not fun.

*offers tea and gripes about body/head issues*

Yipe! I'm sorry! I hope it's nothing serious.

Thankfully my heart doesn't get involved in my tweek. Just my stomach. Urk.

Well, the doctor was rather unhelpful this morning, so I'll be seeing my regular GP on Monday (instead of the emergency doc I saw today).

Good news is some bpal imps arrived for me today! *sniffs them all*

I could go for some Panic Noodles. Do they stick to the wall when they're properly prepared? :)

More like cling. And they'll climb up there by themselves if you slap a couple of books together nearby.

Frenzy fettichini? Inadequency Shrimp? The potential list is endless...

Still, sympathies offered, I think it'll get better.

*lmao*

"Inadequency Shrimp" is perfect. "Battered Chicken" might go well with that as an appetizer. And "Unhappy Clams" might go well with the fettucini!

Hmm... what about desert... How about Overcompensation Crispy Cream Cake with chocolate and sugar frosting!?! Or Anxity Upsidedown Cake?

Dreams are the places where we work out things that our conscious mind can't quite wrap itself around. I very seldom have nightmares anymore; I do however, have some really interesting horror/thriller movies now and again (once I started being able to see these sorts of dreams in that light, they ceased to cause me fear, and now just provide nocturnal entertainment ( ... )

Well, it sounds like you've got something of a handle on it, then - and I do very much understand about the fundage for healthcare thing. It's one of the reasons I'm still a wage slave instead of a complete freelancer; one really disastrous incident can wreck your finances for far too long, and "public" healthcare in my corner of the world is, for the most part, an utter disgrace to our society.

That being said, if you have a great family doc, they'll usually help you out as much as they can with samples, etc. Something that really helps mine is a great supplement called EstroPause; it's a combination of herbal ingredients for female hormonal support (calcium, St. John's Wort, Soy Isoflavonoids, Ginseng, Black Cohosh, Chaste Berry). It's not for everyone, but if you're prone to chronic stress, it can be surprisingly helpful.

Now what were those lovely leather-based fragrances you were describing? I have a fondness for an essential oil I can get around here called "Leather", and I'm wondering if these have the same sort of basis...

If you go to the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab site and run a search on leather, it'll bring up a list of all the scents that have that note in them. I've tried Iago, Loviatar, De Sade, and Whip personally, and they're all divine. I want to eventually try them all. De Sade is pure leather. The others have other ingredients in them. Pretty much, pick your poison. Very, very sexy.

ack! my sympathies!

I think it'll pass though *hugs!*

also: may I steal the panic noodles icon?

You may steal it.

But first: you must suggest a silly recipe for the Panic and Anxiety Cookbook . . . we don't have any panic desserts, yet. (Well, there's "Ice cream and scream and scream.")

Oh, and give proper credit, of course.

"Just like Mother didn't make. Because she didn't love you."

There's a twisted market for this, I tell you.
