I admit to loving that Myst book, hehe. The writing is... well, dreadful, really, but to this day the Myst franchise remains the only game lore or invented world besides Tolkien that has ever drawn me in enough to learn its history or care about the deeper background.

(That said, I still have my copy and don't need another. Just couldn't help putting in my $0.02.)

I originally picked it up just for a bit of the backstory on Myst and Riven. But it was pretty much a read-once-and-set-aside kind of book for me.

What was your impression of Renaissance Faire? I looked it up over on Amazon and it had so-so reviews. If you think I'd like it, hook me up; remember I'm a softy - so nothing deep, dark and evil.

It's an anthology, so it's a mixture...some lighthearted, some really dark, some in between.

I'll send it along and you can decide for yourself.
