I just added several textbooks to my Amazon wishlist. They're almost all related to subjects I've studied in the past, but have allowed myself to become rusty on.

Am I sick, a glutton for punishment, or just plain too hungry for knowledge?

I'm up to three boxes gone through, my desk shelf reorganized with books I use frequently, and the dining room table...well, it's half inundated with books I intend to keep. I've started in on a fairly lengthy and tedious project: thinning out the library. There are books which are woefully out of date, textbooks I'll never make use of again, books that I've acquired to see if I'd enjoy, and decided I didn't, and so forth ( Read more... )
