The Mega Man clone is the third Wily stage.
The only way I beat the original Mega Man back in the day was the Elec beam select button pause trick, but I surprised myself by doing it rather handily on both the PS2 and Xbox MM Collections without cheating. Really wasn't as bad as some other NES games I could mention... worst parts are the aforementioned Iceman platforms and the boss gauntlet right before Wily. Fuck them for that, too. Every other Mega Man game is pathetically easy compared.
I've beaten every standard Mega Man game (1-8 and Game Boy 1-5). I am that awesome. Keep your ProTips to yourself.
