I am very sad to hear about Bobi, and I'm sure Oyster can sense it, critters are Far more in touch naturally with the ebb and flow of life. I'm glad Bro6 is waiting for cooler weather for uprooting activities, you need some time to get things set up & settled. Alice Cooper is coming to my neck of AZ. Sending you love and strength.
Counting our Echo and Philippe Petit, Bobi is the 3rd black cat I know of that has or had GI lymphoma. Phillipe looks almost identical to Bobi, right down to the few white hairs up front.
And yes, FUCK CANCER. With a big old sandy pecker.
Should I hit the lottery, I'll make your brother an offer and hire you to house sit.
Very sorry to hear that Bobi Fett is sick! I hope the medication helps to ease any discomfort/ pain he might be experiencing. It sucks that pets have such a short lifespan. It's never enough time to be with them <3

I'm so sorry to hear about Bobi. Glad he is not in pain. I am also convinced Oyster knows but the good thing about the way animals are in touch with life might be that he might experience it more as a part of life than we do.
And I hope you'll soon have a more solid housing situation, since this sounds quite unstable. Btw, why is your trailer not liveable? I mean, what's the use of it if one can't live in it?
Oh and are you now officially retired? I still have to work for another 7 years before I'll get a small retirement benefit, but that's okay. I am still working and studying at the moment, so I am fine.. I had a short night, so I am a bit tired, and will write more at another moment.
But for now, I'll send love and good vibes to you, Bobi, Oyster and the new house that is undoubtly already waiting for you somewhere..
Thanks for your kind words and good vibes ❤️ I took Bobi to the vet today and she gave me anti-nausea meds and he had a pain shot. He doesn't seem nauseaus yet but best to be prepared. He still has an enormous appetite and he'd gained a pound. Or 5%. He's in week 3 of the 4 he was predicted by the emergency vet but I just want him to be comfortable. Gosh he is so sweet. I'm not officially retired yet, but I do want to get on it. My pension only allows children or a spouse to be beneficiaries, so if I pass before I retire it all just goes back to the pension fund. I'd like to take it out and invest it, with beneficiaries. My trailer currently only has RV plumbing which I am not willing to engage with. And it's pretty torn up. I mean, I could live there, I have lived in worse places! There is a bed, a fridge, a microwave - and soon Bro6 and McG will have my AC going. Hugs to you my friend!

Thank you for your kind words. Bobi is sitting on top of my recliner as I write. He doesn't seem to be in pain so that feels like a win.
When I got home this evening I jumped right in the pool. The water was 91 degrees. But felt good cus it was 104 out of it.
