Wiggles was adopted! Such a sweetheart, I am so happy for her ❤️ Things are getting fixed but it goes slowly because one can only work in this dismal heat for a short period. We take frequent AC breaks. :D
We grilled hot dogs on July 4th, too! Fun, except that I have some sort of sinus thing that has taken away my ability to taste (not Covid, though. I tested, and anyway, it doesn't feel like Covid).
I can't believe that someone seriously suggested that leaving dogs in 112 degree sunny heat is safe. Wow. You did your best for Wiggles.

If the taste thing is persisting, have you tried smell training? It seems to have a decent success rate, is cheap (like < $10) and not too time consuming, and as an added, and hopefully unnecessary, bonus is positively associated with a reduction in the risk of Alzheimer's ftw.
Alternatively and preferably, it's cleared up by now, obvs.

Scritches in all the right places :) Abby is crazy. She got into it with a pitbull once and took it's eye out, and it left her with flapping skin all over her chest. She has scars, crooked teeth - she looks like a dog villain. I am so happy Honey doesn't have to deal with her anymore. Wiggles got adopted! I was so pleased to find that out. She was a wonderful girl and I was tempted... Bro6 is incredibly generous with all his houses, thank goodness. I am kind of glad he wants to sell though...it gives me a kick in the butt to figure out what I am going to do with my life. Part of my 2 or 3 pound brain says to me "save money, you will need it later!" and another part says "you could get hit by a train tomorrow! go to Scotland and take trains all over the place!" Sweet Bobi is doing as well as he can under the circumstances. Got some pain meds for him from the vet today. I was so tempted to adopt Wiggles. I haven't been without a dog since 1985 and have had as many as 7 at once, lol. I'll admit it is cheaper and gives me more free time to be dogless. Wiggles did get adopted though! I was so happy to hear that! ✅ my shed has doors
✅ Bobi is doing all right
✅ McG is totally over it and ready to be annoyed by something else I do or don't do
I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, but my post explains that. I'm so sorry about Bobi. Oyster looks like my Trevor. And I'm sure he knows. At least you have some time before your brother sells the house, if you like it, could you buy it? Just a thought.

Oh also, I don't think I would buy it. I'm not in love with it by any means and I am trying to think of a place I can live half the year when it is boiling here. Maricopa is fine in the winter but man this heat!

I think if the dog refuses to get out of the car they're frakking hot. I think the no kill shelter was the best idea. Good they had room.
