Poor Severus, no wonder he sometimes finds interpersonal matters difficult... I always look forward to your SHP comix - they are always so brilliant. And what better way to start the week than with Severus Snape, Minerva McGonagall and tea. :D And I just love their expressions. This definitely goes on my favourites bymywitch list. 😍

Oh, dear. Poor guy.

Really, they need some psychologists, psychiatrists or social workers in Wizarding Britain. Maybe a Squib or two could get training in the Muggle world and bring it back? There's gotta but a TON of untreated trauma in Wizarding Britain, after two wars within twenty years.

Anyway, great comic, quite poignant. And Minerva's face in the last panel is SO apropos!

So true. I've read a couple fics where Hermione studies Muggle psychiatry and brings it back the Wizard World. You're so right, they could really use the help. Potions don't cure everything!!! :D

This particular comic takes on a very different feeling from the others in this series and I can’t help but be able to see why exactly this poor wizard is so messed up in his head. Time for some counseling or therapy, methinks...

Regardless, still a very well drawn and thought out comic. Great expressions as always. ❤️❤️❤️

There is a long tradition in comic strips of going a bit deeper sometimes. For example, this is the very first Peanuts strip:

Oh, I absolutely love Charlie Brown and his crew! Snape is a bit of a CB and I totally get it. Charles Schulz was much darker than what most of his comics reflected and there was always that bit of an edge/bite.

Remember that one CB special, Why Charlie Brown, Why? where the little girl gets cancer and dies? Gah - sad!!!
