The Doctor was rather thankful for that - he still hadn’t quite worked out who he was jealous of.

Naturally...

Loving every weird minute of this.

“What?” Jack replied distractedly, momentarily distracted from his parsnips.
I have absolutely no idea why this line tickles me so much - but it's just all so wonderfully Wodehousian. Just waiting for Jeeves' fabulous fish-fed brain to leap disastrously into action now...

Ooh, crikey, I'm glad you quoted that - I didn't notice I'd used 'distracted' twice!

Jeeves may be a bit slow, as Jeeves' brain is channelling my brain and my brain...is floundering somewhat. Or should I not admit that? I'll plot tonight and see what I come up with. ;)

And I'm entirely observant - because I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it! Really, just for some reason Jack tucking into his parsnips - must just be a warped soh. Am willing a large portion of encouragement (and as many brain cells as I can spare - not a lot if my observation's anything to go by)in your general direction. This is brilliant stuff, looking forward to reading more.

Thank you! This is the first time, I have to say, I've ever posted a crossover fic, and since I decided I was going to try and update every day (or as near as), I never feel too pleased with the chapters after I've posted them. I'm glad to hear people are enjoying it though, it certainly makes it easier when it comes to posting the next chapter.

How's the sequel to "Time; present" coming along? Not that I'm, y'know, nosy or anything... ;)
