[Only on rare occasions was Uriel at a loss for words, but upon learning of Raphael's sexual orientation, he allowed himself to be speechless. Possibly even at a loss for clear thought. The concept was so alien to him, so completely unheard of. A gay archangel. God would never allow such a thing. And he knew that his brothers in heaven, save for ( Read more... )

Is that what he said? In exactly those words?

Those exact words. He first confessed to being gay, but then corrected himself, asking if it would "help". As though it would make it any more acceptable.

Did he look guilty at all when he told you?

He said it over the community, so I couldn't see his expression. But when I told him I didn't understand, he seemed confused.

I don't know what to think. I can't understand why he would test us. Is it Samael?

I would say Samael has no restraint over his flirting in public view, but he doesn't speak to us the same manner he speaks to Raphael.

I can imagine how Samael may be addressing our brother in the privacy of his own room. What can we do if Raphael chooses to sin under conscious knowledge of his former place with God?

There isn't a lot we can do if he won't acknowledge what he's doing is wrong. Repentance without truly accepting your wrongdoings isn't true repentance.

He's turning his back to God. This isn't acceptable. But if he cannot repent, how can we close our eyes and let it pass?

We can't, Michael.

Then you would shun him?

I don't know. How can we help him see that he's turned his back to God?

It would pain me to shun him most of all. I want to forgive him, but only if he's shown remorse. He hasn't done that. I see no other choice. But if there was any other way, any way that we could've guided him, I wish that Metatron had made it known.
