I've been doing a lot of thinking. About my life before all this craziness and my life after. And I don't really understand why I can't go back to my life before. Yes, I have this other stuff in my head, but that woman who lived two thousand years ago? I don't feel like her. Maybe I remember what her life was like, but it wasn't mine

Sometimes. It just seems like I have enough other stuff to worry about without having to add past lives to the list.

True enough. It's this latest trapped-in-the-apocalypse thing that worries me. The only common factor there seems to be our pasts affecting us, 'binding' us, in a sense.
