Well, I did it. I got in all the applications I need to for colleges and scholarships and whatnot.

Now comes the part where I have to wait for the letters saying whether or not I've been accepted.

...I almost think this part is going to be worse than the crazy paperwork.

Actually, it some sense, it's a relief since my part is over. But the anticipation can be absolute murder.

I can get that. You do what you can and then hope everyone else think it's enough. What are you trying out for?

A handful of local schools. NYU, CUNY, Columbia, the Pratt Institute, and a couple others. And some scholarships, mostly for my writing.

Good luck. Around this time last year I was getting those letters back and freaking out about the ones I hadn't heard from. Those are the ones I knew I was on the fence on -- science grad students all have to get back to colleges about where they're going by Tax Day.

Undergrad is a bit more forgiving, I think. Especially when you'll probably end up majoring in English.
