I really am starting to like Ida and for some reason I'm shipping her with Finn, oddly enough but you really see to have a great handle on the characters, even in the previous part with Wes and David, I said I loved the way you wrote them because even though their only real appearance was their writing in the card you gave them such presence that it was like they were actually there.

It's so cool that you would consider shipping Ida with one of the canon characters! *bounces happily*

I have said this about a million times to other people, but I've got to tell you too: I obsess over characterization. I fret over every word and thought I give these people because I want them to sound as close to canon as I can possibly make them sound - so that you consider them in-character, gives me a degree of giddiness I can not quite describe. I'm still bouncing and flailing a little, let's just put it that way :D Thank you so much for making my day!

This second part was adorable. I love the whole family vibe of the chapter. The subtle Klaine moments were written beautiful and completely in character.

It was nice to finally see Kurt and Ida interact. I'm curious to see what you have planned for Ida in the future. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I love family type fics - that's what my first Glee fics were all about; Burt and Kurt being the awesome Hummels that they are, and the Glee club being the awesome group of friends that I like to pretend they can be :D Ooooh, in-character Klaine? *swoons* That makes me a happy girl!

There will be a little more Ida here and there :) And there will definitely be more aftermath - I'm such a sucker for it! *hugs* Thanks again!

American Horror Story.
Definitely distracting :D
But here I am, back again^^

Ida is really brave.
She's like most people today, as I said before, not caring enough sometimes, but oh, so brave :)
I love her.

Oh, right, Finn and Carole haven't moved in yet...
And...
Burt's okay with sending Kurt to Dalton, to a DORM when he might still have Nightmares?
I am amazed by that...

This story is so impossibly heartwrenching...

Ooooh, American Horror Story: I've heard much about it, but I've yet to watch it (I'll admit my interest is low - I've already got far too many shows/movies that I'm watching). Distracting, but good I hope? :)

Ida was meant to be one-hit wonder, so to speak - an instance of bravery and then fade back into the background . . . but if we're going to show someone learning to care and step out of the shadows to help, I figured it made sense to follow her a little more - I'm glad you like her :D

I know, right? With Finn and Carole (because, again, I wrote this a while ago) I had to keep reminding myself 'this is AU from NBK, therefore there was no wedding!' I'm going to have to get Burt to propose soon, or at least buy the new house - it's driving me crazy ( ... )

Absolutely awesome, actually, I love that series^^
If you ever find the time, I can definitely recommend it.

I actually thought, they started living together somewhere in the summer before Season 1 and 2 and THEN he proposed, as was planned before.
But well, just my headcanon :D

Again, just my headcanon, I understood it that Dalton needed Boarding because it was way to far.
BUT they never said in the series (which I find highly sad) so I guess living at home and getting up earlier than everyone else is possible, too.

You are welcome *hugs back*

Hmm, maybe I will check it out . . . once school dies down, and no longer have a reason to feel guilty every time I set in front of my computer to do something not school-related ( ... )

Think Kurt is suffering from trauma which is to be expected! Am sure it will take time for him to recover!

I thought it was very, VERY important that we see Kurt suffering from trauma - if not a little PTSD, because, well, it was a very awful and deeply affecting thing he went through. Also, yes, definitely tons of time for him to recover - so much so, I don't know if we'll get to see the end process of that recovery, but definitely lots of progress, I promise! :D

*yet more hugs* 'Cause you're lovely :)

Really excellent characterisation as usual, and I awww'd aloud at all of New Directions in the hospital for rioting all over the jocks, and Kurt managing, even while dopey on pain meds, to ninja unhealthy foods away from his father. (Also, mad love for The Philadelphia Story and High Society! They're both awesome - I think the original's a little tighter, but who can resist so much Cole Porter?)

:D :D :D = that's what happens when you tell me that my characterization is excellent. I smile like a loon and get all happy-giddy, with bonus flailing.

Of course Kurt would still be a ninja, despite the pain meds - especially when it comes to keeping his dad healthy :) I love the New Directions being all family-like and supportive - expect to see more of that!

I agree with you about A Philadelphia Story - I think I laughed at far more one-liners in the original, and the scene when Jimmy Stewart is trying to compose something while drunk (a letter? his article? can't remember), and Cary Grant is typing it for him . . . *giggles* (I now have the urge to re-watch, 'cause it's been ages!), but yes, the marvellous songs in High Society absolutely made that movie - the duet between Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby? One of the most awesome things ever!

*hugs* You win all the awards for recognizing those two movies! *more hugs*
