( Kurt was a strong kid but (it broke something inside him to admit this, even just in his thoughts) he wasn't sure if this was something that Kurt could just pack away and move on from. In fact, he knew that that couldn't be the case. Kurt was going to be hurting long after the bruises and cuts faded away. )

Interesting that Ida saving Kurt might have resulted in her developing a whole new set of friends. That's adorably sweet. :)

Also, I appreciate that you decided that both Kurt and Ida would be suffering from leftover trauma. They both went through a really scary situation and will need time to heal.

I wanted to give Ida a semi-happy ending :) Thank you for liking what I did with her: as you so rightly pointed out, both she and Kurt will need healing, and Ida needs support for that - just like Kurt will. Also, I'm such a staunch believer in aftermath - you have no idea. Half the time I write the trauma for the pure reason of getting to write the aftermath :)
