icon sums up how i feel about tomorrow

Today we took down the decorations at work and we were completely bummed out the rest of the day. It's back to blah walls. Today a co-worker also locked her keys in her car with the car running. Thankfully she left a window cracked an inch and I was able to shimmy a lateral file rail with a plastic knife taped to the end down in there and hit ( Read more... )

Blah walls are....blah.

My hubby is a huge fan of NCIS. I've never seen it. Perhaps I should?

Go Dolphins! :)

We're hoping Christmas gets here sooner... LOL. We're planning to decorate.

And OMFG, NEVER? Please sit down and watch. Just chill and enjoy it.

After last year, I had little expectations this year. I hoped they'd win two, you know? But Four? And we've still got games to play? It's fun! ♥

I've seen 2-3 episodes of NCIS in the last couple of weeks, and it's cute (is that a word that should be applied to crime dramas?). It's not one that I can see myself getting THAT into, but definitely something I don't mind watching sometimes.

LOL, I didn't think I'd be all THAT into it either, but three years later... ;) But yeah, it is cute, hee.

(How's this for fast turnaround of a reply??)

That's how I was with Without A Trace and Cold Case. I had no clue they (well, mainly WAT) would become a fandom obsession for me... lol. I mean, who gets like that about a freaking crime drama?? (Answer: A lot of us, apparently!)

Heh, well, I dunno about those shows, but I see NCIS like Bones where it's a "crime drama" but it doesn't exactly fall exactly into the mold. They're quirky shows you can LOL your ass off through and at the end you're not completely freaking out.

But like I said below, it helps that I'm not really into the online fandoms of these shows. Seems like that makes a show instantly a hundred times better. Fandom has really taken something away from Lost for me, especially the Skaters.

you watch NCIS? My mum is a huge fan of it, and I watch it most nights, but not always though. I do quite like it, and I love the father/daughter type chemistry between Gibbs and Abby ... still not sold on the new boss guy though ...

Abby and Gibbs are adorable. She's who I named the dog after. Heh. And ugh, I'm OK with the new boss, only because the old one was tiring me with her "Le Gran Wee" business every five seconds... plus, I always hated that she came off looking like she was flirting with Gibbs ALWAYS. LOL. But I hate changes like that. It still bothers me on Bones that they got rid of the original dude and replaced him with Cam.

Sorry to cut in here, but now I'll think of you and canine Abby every time I tune in and see oddball human Abby!

LOL! And Abby is SO weird like Abby. ;) She probably thinks her second name is "Silly Girl" because I'm constantly saying that. She managed to deflate the basketballs enough to where she can get them in her mouth, so she wants me to kick them, but holds them in her mouth and THEN runs away and THEN DARES me to chase her and kick it.

OMG if people don't STFU about the elections and stop posting and telling everyone else to vote I'm going to BASH MY OWN FREAKIN HEAD IN SO I DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT ANYMORE...I DONT CARE!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Rant not directed towards YOU of course, just venting my general frustration with the world today. I honestly don't even care who wins anymore I'm just so glad its almost over.

ETA: I meant to say I've seen a few NCIS and liked them but my ranting got in the way ;)

I don't mind everyone saying, "Go Vote!" because yeah, everyone should... except they're telling the youngest and dumbest to get out there which is frightening. BUT... I don't like the "Go Vote!!.... OBAMA ROCKS AND YOU SUCK DICK IF YOU LIKE MCCAIN!" that I've been getting for the past month. I can say, with certainty, that I do not, in fact, suck dick ( ... )
