let the games begin

Last weekend I had the pleasure of re-watching all of Bones season's one and two with kballgetlost. Marathons are always fun, but when you can marathon over 40 episodes of something and be able to say, "OMG, this one is SO GOOD!" before each one starts is a rarity. It was also interesting to see the show BEFORE Gormagon - which didn't destroy the good-ep ( Read more... )

"For a guy so completely in love, he sure fell in the sack with the CamHo quickly" - I thought the same thing. Even my 12 yo daughter was like "Wow, he moved on fast." Also, I hated the way he treated Angela like an object that belonged to him. Ew. gtfo.

Sweets is kind of adorkable.

I loved "You're special. He's not." It definitely got an AWWW from me. Booth was great in this ep. I love that he got "knighted" at the end.

Shows that treat sex so flippantly bother me because kids watch this and kids are influenced by this and we sit around wondering why kids treat sex so flippantly...

And yes, them treating Angela like some object was weird. My initial reaction was to say, "Why not let ANGELA decide who she wants?" As much as the whole fight was funny, it was really stupid and childish.

Booth being Jr Knighted was so cute and you know they HAVE to hang that little trinket up in his office and joke about it at some point. Heh.

I know. Do you watch How I Met Your Mother? Great show, but there was one episode that centered around the fact that this girl Ted was dating hadn't had sex in 5 years. Everyone made this huge deal out of it, like they couldn't believe it was possible. I was like WTF? Why does not having sex with every person you meet suddenly make you a freak? And yeah, I watch these shows with my kid and then I have to try and explain to her that they are full of crap, that it's okay to not jump into bed every time you find someone attractive.

I didn't like the season premiere, to be honest. I agree about Greyson, he was nothing special and I was literally SCREAMING at my TV when Angela just kind of kisses him hardcore. You're engaged, you don't do that, even if the man is your husband (although it was more like a fling if anything ( ... )

As far as premier's go, it wasn't strong, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I just hope continuing writing/filming into the summer after the finale doesn't hurt the episodes/story
lines.

I don't get how the writers expect me to believe that when you have been dating/engaged for what, over a year, that suddenly you realize you don't trust one another and it's over.
I think people are so used to this happening in "real life" that the writer's expected it to fly on this show, but it doesn't, because these people aren't your typical "real life" personalities. That's what makes them worth watching. I don't buy it and I hope this isn't their way of saying, "FOX wants more sex," because I've seen relationships ruined on other shows because Network Executives think they're writers.

Also? Don't count out Michael/Jan. ♥

Last night's might actually have been better if it'd been cut at the halfway point, instead of dragging it into a second hour.

I didn't care much for the premier last night. I thought they were really pushing the sex issue too hard. Is this brilliant woman really so clueless she can recognize when she wants to sleep with everyone but Boothe? They work well together as friends. Why does every television show think a male and female lead can't be interesting unless they're wanting to boink one another?

Every time I see Cam I see the Walt's mother or worse, Charlie Salinger's lover who actually thought "me or the kids" was a choice. :b

The Hodgins and Angela thing was stupid, but I find her annoying anyway so good riddance. He needs something fresh and freaky that doesn't want a million kids.

I miss Zach. : (

Boothe's tantrum in the middle of the street was a bit much, but otherwise he was his typically amusing self.

Sweets is kind of annoying, but he could grow on me I guess.

Hopefully, the rest of the season will be better than last night was because I've never gotten bored watching "Bones" and last night I did.

So pissed with the way they did Angela/Hodgins.

But Booth was beyond amusing last night, for all the reasons you said above.
