Yeah, this show... I don't know. It's based on a novel written by a woman, I think. But even so, just because something might be written by a woman doesn't mean that it is supportive of women. I'm hopeful that what's going on is that the women are being set up to look like they conform to social stereotypes, but that as they get the courage to reject gendered definitions of ability, that they begin looking out for each other

If it's by a women then it shouldn't be too negative on women... but having said that, we ALL know my view on actresses and how many of them I automatically dislike xD me and women just tend to not click =/
You have a valid point about what the manager woman feels towards Emiri.
I think it's trying to get all these bad images out as soon as possible so that when the 'women fight back for justice' starts, it'll have more impact, perhaps?
