Today on the side of the road we passed a little old lady selling flowers.   Clean and looking like a grandma in a dress and a summer hat, but standing at the underpass of the freeway, like the homeless do, the sight was disturbing.  It was 90-something degrees outside.

Having the air conditioner out at work has turned out to be a little bit like getting your tonsils out.  It's kind of miserable but twice this week our bosses have brought us ice cream and lemonade.  Cool, huh?!
