We lost a whole lot of love wrapped up in a little dog today. I wish our little Lupie swift, easy crossing across the rainbow bridge. Loving arms await you with ice cream and cookies.
Chalupa was 16, blind, going deaf. She had 2 1/2 teeth but she could still demand her puppy chow in the morning and would sometimes play for a minute before she wore herself out. Dori took her in a couple of years ago when the little old man that was Lupie's daddy died. She was a good girl and it was a delight to share our home with her.
Today she started having seizures and just didn't stop. The doctor thought it was probably a brain tumor, given her age. I looked it up and she has had all the symptoms. We had thought it was all just "age." I guess it kind of was. We decided it was better to help her cross humanely than continue to sieze until her body wore out.
We will miss you, little Lupie. Know you are loved, sweet one.
