Some more photos I took at Tom's gig. I'm actually feeling somewhat competent with my camera now, given I managed to take these in Manual mode.

And I actually bothered to resize these, so hopefully they won't take forever to load.

Those would look amazing blown up. Just the plain black and red is pretty stunning.

I've got them larger, I just shrunk them down for LJ. It's a pity because the smaller sizes lose some of the detail.

Have you considered being a photographer for events and the like? Just as a small job on the side or something... Just through word of mouth you could get plenty of jobs - a friend of mine does it, and I think she's probably half as good as you (that sounds so rude to her, but it's true :P).

I'd love to! I'm not very good, but I'm thinking about taking a short course or something, so I can at least understand the basics, rather than just get lucky with photos. Tom plays gigs with another band fairly often, so I'm sort of hoping that they might see the photos of him and ask me to take some shots of them.
