Wrong anomaly, that's for sure. He'd prefer years into the future or Jurassic Era as an answer, but -- around the 1930s he doubted that anyone would've heard of London's little time-travelling problem. This also meant that he was hideously .... overdressed. Or rather, he just wasn't plain dressed for the occasion. Annoyance creeps over his face. It's not like he brought extra clothes in case he was teleported a decade or two before the second world war. He may have a shirt, but .... his backpack wasn't here, and .... a confused look at the man and his colleague. He said they didn't take it. Perhaps he left it? That'd be stupid. Captain Becker wouldn't do such a thing ( ... )

"Ah, the townspeople." Becker attempted not to sound whiny, or condescending. He really did. He tactfully refrained from doing air quotes, he's not that immature. It's just that he's so used to having Lester deal with all the legal crap that his team pulls off, that suddenly having to deal with the townspeople was a little off-putting, and, frankly, annoying. The townspeople are better off not knowing whatever it is that's going on in the university, and Becker is inclined to think of this place as a more primitive version of the ARC. It's just that he doesn't like this one. Neither does he appreciate the lack of resources. "Of course," he answers a lot more politely, probably after he's disposed of his Judgement Face. He hates the idea of being one of the future people stuck in the past. Having his life directed in some kind of anachronistic show isn't exactly his cup of tea ( ... )
