[And meanwhile, one Atsuki Saijo is still searchign around Luceti for residual Shinen to deal with the blank period in his memory. Curiously - perhaps frustratingly - he isn't finding any at all. However, what he does somewhat unexpectedly find is Tear here wandering back towards the village.

Being a fake SMT lead decent guy, he's going to wander over with the intent to offer to help]

[ This is some info on/permissions for his abilities and such there, so if/when she has some notable mood changes and such in this thread if you could throw me a bone that would be awesome

[And Tear... doesn't recognize the approaching male so for a moment she's rather apprehensive. She purses her lips, regarding him not unkindly but warily.]

[What a fascinating set of powers. :O She'll probably be more prone to slight moodiness actually-- I've had the Malnosso take her ability to vocalize as she has healing powers through spell casting and singing, so her inability to speak will probably make the emotional range a little stronger. 8D; Will let you know of anything he would be likely to notice, though.]

[And as he gets over there... could this be a result of a return from kidnapping? There's some emotions he can sense, but none of the Shinen are bubbling to the surface sufficient for him to use Σ yet. Instead, it's time to fall back on old reliable - conversation.

[...I should note also that in-game his eyes are noted many times as being remarkable. They give several characters in-game the vibe that they are being looked straight through but it's somehow comforting or... something. idgi]

[She opens her mouth and frowns a bit, closing it again and setting a hand on her collarbone. Er, how does one explain that they were kidnapped and just returned but are honestly okay, really, when they found themselves unable to talk? Tear was never a terribly social person anyway, but she suddenly found herself sorely missing her functional vocal chords.]

[After a moment, she sets her fingertips against her throat and shakes her head, hoping Atsuki might understand.]

[Today Tear is in luck, because tiny child with poofy hair is up in his tree house looking for something! He's climbing down the ladder when he suddenly notices something familiar.]

...Tear! [Screw this, jumping from the last four rungs or so and racing over to her.]

[She starts a bit when he name is shouted, pressing her journal shut by the spine to free her right hand, which promptly goes to her thigh and rests against her knives--]

...! [Until she sees Taichi running full-tilt toward her, at which point her expression goes slack in a sort of relieved stupor.]

[We're down with that. Literally, actually, as she flopped to her knees to hug him back just as he reached her. Surrogate baby brother, we missed you so. ♥]

[Good thing Luke's been patrolling the forest a whole hell of a lot since Tear was taken. Whenever he sees her (and whoever she might be with at the time), Luke will promptly be running to her without a word and sweeping her into a hug. A light one anyways, since you know... injuries.]

[For simplicity's sake, we'll assume she's alone because multi-person threading gets so confusing. @_@;; There is a faint gasp from the melodist as she's embraced, her journal falling from her grasp and her body tensing for all of three seconds before she recognizes-- oddly enough --the scent of the redhead. She allows herself a sort of gusty sigh and a marked relaxation, but doesn't quite drop her head onto his collarbone like she rather wishes to.]

[Holds her close for a minute longer, and then pulls back, looking her over.]

Are you okay?

[She's tired, is what she is. Holy crap, she's tired. And it shows in her smile, which is odd enough in and of itself. She sets her fingertips against her throat and makes to speak, but no sound comes out. Plz to be understanding that means I can't talk, Luke.]
