Vacated my Home in SL
I did a scary thing today. vacated my home for the last year. getting to be a hassle paying for the double space which i really did not need. i hope i can grab a smaller place, 'cause i really need a "home".

linden censorship in sl
looks like linden labs is getting paranoid and may censor the activities in second life. there is a debate going on about what to allow and where. it may be as simple as having some sort of age check linked to a credit card. that is not too bad, but sort of blows away the idea of being anonymous. most of the places i frequent are listed as "mature ( Read more... ) -
SL Update
Check out the new me in Second Life. The new neighbor and I had a great time last night, but it ended a bit abruptly. Not sure if his ISP crashed again, but I am looking forward to more great adventures with Caeles.

Second Life vs Real Life

is there no end to this? already burned out one of my nVidia 7300GT cards and now the video in sl looks like crap! random lights and flying objects. this is like hallucinations! gotta do something as my av looks like she is having an epileptic fit ( Read more... ) -
the computer lives!
update on my computer problem: it's fixed! (sort of). i replaced the mobo and cpu today (now have amd64 2x). i was really surprised that i didn't have to reload the os. just a couple of drivers for the new mobo. never had that happen before. one of my video boards is toast. might be what fried the old mobo. i can get by on one gpu for a while. no ( Read more... ) -
RL SUX
ok, so real life officially sucks. my computer is toast. It is my baby (i built it) and I hate to see it dead. the motherboard has self destructed and a new one is on the way. problem is that i cannot feed my sl addiction until it gets here. i am using an old dell laptop right now and it just doesn't cut it. video is unusable. i tried something ( Read more... ) -
second life and new computer up date
second life is far more complex than i imagined. there really some talented people "living" there. creating objects from prims (primitive shapes) and scripting (in linden script) is going to take some learning. i believe it will be well worth it. not terrible impressed by the reliability of SL. seems that server crashes are common. they are going ( Read more... )
