He only wished he was able to partake in a game of chance himself. He continued to watch as the behemoth’s eyes narrowed and anger permeated the area surrounding him. Ezra felt his hackles

Huzzah, update! Love this little story, can't wait to find out more about Ezra's story in this tale. Is Chris able to hear him? He seems to be bleeding understanding onto him now. I know I would freak out if a half-wild wolf insisted on getting money off the poker table! Anyway, loved this chapter.

Huh, I still can't tell if Chris can hear him or not. You haven't been clear there either way, good way to draw it out, heh. I'm glad Ezra wasn't the one who got shot, and that Vin will be ok. I can foresee Mary being a problem though, she can be snoopy.
