My husband didn't want a dog--mainly because his childhood dog was so badly behaved--but my kids and I overruled him and got one anyway. My husband got to meet Sean briefly (two evenings) and then went out of town for five days. Yes, definitely nerves and knowing the Alpha male was present. Better to do greetings outside. :-) Oh, and the pic of him was precious!

Thanks for the link. It's good to know exactly what was going on in that doggy brain of his. He hasn't repeated it, so at least he isn't feeling a need to do it every time my husband comes home.
