H-50 & Lion King Crossover PicSpam
After making that quirky little video of mine about how Steve wants to be King of Hawaii, I just could not, for the life of me, get the idea of a H-50 and Lion King crossover out of my mind. So, as a result of that, I ended up making a whole lot of little graphics to show exactly why I couldn't unsee it. This has also served one of the prompts, 'Crossover', on my bingo card at h50bingo so yay!
Surprisingly, there were a lot more similarities than I first expected...
1) I think this one is pretty self explanatory, especially after my video. Haha. Sometimes the only way to get an unruly charge to pay attention is to nearly, or literally, poke them in the face.
2) I can see a lot of similarities between Papa McGarrett and Mufasa. They both worried so much about their kids that their wisdom in protecting them may have ultimately done them more harm than good.
3) Both screaming for the loss of their father, of which both of them were witness, in one way or another, to.
4) They say hindsight is 20/20 and here I suppose it's true. Neither Steve or Simba could know that they were quite literally looking their future arch-nemesis in the face.
5) Another one that's pretty straightforward. Quiet Simba!Steve. The adults are talking now.
6) Sadly not every henchman in existence was the brightest bulb in the bunch. Scar and Wo-Fat both had to deal with incompetence and they remained quite suave about it too. Nicely done gentlemen.
7) This one just made me laugh. A lot. I could so see the Governer and Wo-Fat doing that little team thingy like the hyenas. That's how the finale should have gone. Hilarious!
That's all I've got for now, but no doubt the urge will strike again and I'll have a whole lot more to put up. Haha. As I said, the similarities are startling and there is still a lot of the Lion King for me to look through. Hope you enjoyed this odd little cracky post. I certainly had fun making it!
