I found a yummy-sounding recipe for a strawberry mead... I might have to give it a try, especially since I've not tried a fruit-based/-mixed mead recipe to date yet. -

FoD was fun the weekend before last...
had fun seeing/socializing with my sister last weekend..
found out Monday that I had early-stage bronchitis & a UTI. Got antibiotics & an inhaler for those, and am currently on them.
I have sewing projects due for the May FoD. I have Shadowmoor this weekend.
Been busy, as you might imagine.. -

Mead experiment
Well, despite my back issues of late, I managed to get a test batch started (thanks to my handsome husband!) and put in the carboy last night. Would have had it started Sunday night, but the yeast that I had wouldn't bloom. :p ( Read more... ) -
