Ok, I'm having a bitchy PMS day and I just want to vent a little. My life's pretty decent at the moment. I've got a great guy that I've fallen in love with in less than a month of dating and I only knew him a week before that. But he's been driving me nuts for the last couple of days. I'm blaming it on PMS, but I don't know ( Read more... )

Oh what are the ingredients in finnish bread? Wouldn't that be something if in your next HIM encounter (and it WILL happen) you have a fresh baked loaf of bread for them. Awww!

Is everything okay now with you and Casey? Well you've been with him for a short while but I'd say you both are getting to that point where the polish starts to fade and one starts seeing the real person underneath the persona. I think as long as the real person behind the mask isn't so far off the mark from the person he/she presents to their SO it won't hurt the relationship.

You'll be a wife and mother; just have patience for your natural life course. You'll get there.*hug*

Did that sound new agey?? LOL Pass me some Finnish bread. :p

Awe! No, we're fine now. When I start PMSing, everybody gets on my nerves. I love him to death and could forgive him almost anything.

You know, I was actually planning on taking some Finnish bread for the boys at the concert in NJ. LOL!

If you want the recipie, I'll gladly share it with you. It's delicious! Especially if you put a little honey butter over it.

Here ya go! Enjoy it, cause it's delicious!!

Finnish Bread

1 package active dry yeast
2 cups warm water
4-1/2 to 5 cups all purpose flour, divided
1 cup whole wheat flour
4 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, 2 tablespoons butter, brown sugar, and salt; beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down. Shape into two 6-inch rounds; place on a greased baking sheet. Cut slashes in top with a knife. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 40 minutes.
Bake at 400º for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining butter.
Yield: 2 loaves
