[Now, normally Jim is a lot more careful with his SFC. He has seen these accidental posts, and he'd rather avoid the whole matter himself. Normally, yes. But today he is very distracted. So distracted that he doesn't really notice his fingers brushing over the wrong button as he sets down the device, before tossing his coat out of the camera's view ( Read more... )

I'm sure it is.

[Oh no, Equius understands.]

Can they be built for power?

[While Jim might prefer a fighter jet for a solar surfer, Equius wants a tank.]

I think so. I never really tried it, but it should be possible. Instead of rerouting power to the thrusters to make it go quick, you could set it to feed the anti-gravity module instead making it capable of carrying heavier loads.

[Oh, he is thinking about it now.]

We should look through what I've got in my sylladex; there's probably all sorts of parts there you could scavenge.

Uh... sorry I didn't offer before. I didn't know you were working on this, or I would have.

Nah, it's cool. What good is a mechanic when he can't improvise from time to time?

But I'd still love to see what kinda alien stuff you've got.

You're more than welcome to come to my shop sometime, see what I have. You could take the parts you need, and I could pick your brain about the solar surfers.

[Nerd bro date? Y/N?]

Only as long as that is meant in the proverbial sense and not actually a thing you do.

[Damn you, Equius. How many dates do you need?]

Only proverbially, not literally.

[All the dates, Jim. All of them.]

Hey, with all the weirdoes around, sometimes you just gotta check.

[He's grinning though. This is him teasing.

Is this the fifth quadrant? Techbrologists?]
