Hello.

I got an internship in TX/MO working with birds. It will be a field job, with 8 hours of bird-filled fun every day. Mist-netting and banding will be included. Benefits include: free housing, $28 a day for food, and awesome.

Ohio tricked the world. We all thought it was spring time, and then the snows came, the flowers died, and everyone sunk back into their deep chasms of depression.

But other exciting things are blossoming. Like my usage of metaphors in everyday life.

I'm in Austin, and I don't want to leave. Ohio just seems so eternally depressed in comparison. Dreary. I never thought I would say this about Texas, but I'm saying it. I'm sick and delerious. Everything is funny and nonsensical.

I just want to express myself through the art of dance. I went to a house sock-hop last night that was so so much fun. I ate tons of grapes too. Then rode my bike. It was so extreme.

Things are looking awesome this term, I think. I have a high hope level.

The other day I drew a lot of unicorns. It seems like these magical animals are becoming a major part of my life somehow.

It was my most awesomest birthday ever yesterday. Thanks to the surprise party attendees and organizers. The party was perfect, and I even got to wash dishes!

This may be the happiest day of my life. I got a single for next term! This means I won't have to a) move off campus and pay rent or b) deal with the insanity associated with having a roommate. Ahhhh...the space, the peace, the quiet...

But, if I do get a roommate for any reason my soul with be dashed to pieces. It could happen.

Just about time to go home. To Ohio, that is.

I found a diamond-like gem stuck to the bottom of my red high-heel, which I regrettably wore on new year's eve.

My house is also extremely cold, all the time.
