I've changed the look of the live journal!

Jul 31, 2003 19:05

Hi again,

Well I've changed the look to something that is not going to yell at me and make me recoil in horror whenever I see it!

Now I can start using it! But I've got lots of work to do now!
And I'm hungry. So I'm off to put something together while I wait for my darling hubby to come home.

Take care all.

Eva,

Yes, I am revamping it today! Hoping to persuade the PC to keep working before I am forced to F-Disk it! Worst thing to do to a PC as it wipes out the hard drive totally and utterly!

I'm trying to avoid that as I have SO MUCH stuff to download onto CD Rom before I F-disk the stupid machine! That in itself will take absolutely ages!

Ah me, back to work now!

Take care,

Bess.

Can't wait to see the new photos on your site! :)
You do beautiful work!
I'm in the SCA (East Kingdom)in the States so I can appreciate the dedication that everyone here on LiveJournal has put into their garb.

Best Regards,

Dear Anne,

Many thanks for your kind comments. I am working hard on the web site but I have a few sewing projects that have a tight deadline so I think the web site may be a bit slower than I expected.

I have two "Jane Austen" period gowns to be made. One is based on an original and has embroidery (which for time reasons will be mostly machined - its all satin stitch anyway so won't matter). Both dresses need to be finished before I go into hospital in mid September as they are required a week after that for a festival in Bath (UK).

When I have updated I will certainly be notifying everyone I can think of - Watch this space.

Again, Many thanks. It means a lot to me.

Take care,

Bess Chilver.
