I've recently talked about the self-referential aspect of some Disney costumes with a friend. We both thought it was dumb to have "Tinkerbell" written on your dress when you were Tinkerbell. You're supposed to know who you are, eh ? Unless you're Vanilla Ice and need to have your name tatooed on your arm, but that's another story.
