I want to write a short mail to someone, a doujinka actually, to ask if she will be selling something at a convention she's attending next month... Do you think you could give it a try?

I might be able to. I can definitely get a couple of sentences out. I can bang out a draft in a few hours once I get back from the con.

I've studied it for eight years and lived there for a semester. If you need help with polite form, I studied that for a solid year, too.

I might sound like an idiot now, but this morning I found another way to get the doujin (I hope), so I'm not sure if I'll need that email now. Though if it doesn't work out as I planned, could I ask you for help again? If it's too much of a bother or you don't have free time it's alright - thank you for offering help the first time &hearts
