Especially how Antonio kept on singing after being drenched!!!
That made my day!! (though the serenade itself is a little awkward to me)
Hey, ummm, was i taught wrong? I was taught that it was vas-y when saying to one person, and allez-vous for formal or group.....(sorry about the grammar....it gets to me if i've been taught to say the wrong thing from the start)

Really? I didn't know that- I don't speak French so...hehehe *embarrassed*... Well should I correct that? I mean, Francis was actually referring to Antonio only...

In your case,
“Go, go! Allez-y !” (12) Francis urged in a hushed tone
--> since Francis is kind of urging Antonio to go, I think vas-y is more suitable. Allez-y is less pushy than vas-y. It means more or less like 'go ahead'. For example if Antonio asks whether he could go or not, and Francis allows, most probably he would say Allez-y.
arghh, my French is not so good and I'm not very good in explaining, either. Hope that can help though.

to be honest, I fell in love with the song now! ahahaha. I cant imagine if I have Spain serenading me. I might die~~
ah yes, and the 'que' for the French part, isnt it better if you say 'quoi'? just in my opinion though..
anyway, I really really enjoy this story! you dont know how much you've made my day!
