[Tonight, even in the night, something is noticeably off about the fountain. Specifically, the water seems darker, and there seems to be something laying face down in the water. Upon further inspection, you'll notice that that something is actually the pale, and lifeless body of a blond girl. There seems to be bullet holes all over her, as well as ( Read more... )

so much for making dinner, dead, run-in with a couple remnants, this isn't good

*Jr. had been wondering what had happened to Jenny when she wasn't around to cook like she usually did and had left to look for her. When he got to the fountain and smelled the blood, it took him a couple seconds to recognize Jenny, but when he did, his face flickered briefly to shock and then to rage.* Goddammit! Not again...

[He too, noticed something was amiss earlier when supper time came and went and Jenny was nowhere to be found. The Doctor left not long after Jr. to search for her as well. Later he finds his way to the fountain to see him standing over a body. A young woman's body. ...Jenny's body.

His eyes flicker darkly, hands clenched in tight fists as rage crashes over him like a tidal wave. The feelings of when he first saw Jenny get killed come rushing back as well as images from losing his family and friends in the Last Great Time War. He's still a moment, merely staring intently at her lifeless form. Once the shock has ebbed away a little, he rushes over and gets down on the ground to investigate.]

...Jenny? Jenny!

What's going on? What happened? [He's looking up at Jr. and wants so badly to say "What did you do?", but he already knows it's not his fault. Someone else did this. And whoever it was is going to be in for the oncoming storm.]

[Thanks to the new lampposts that lit up the plaza, Jay is clearly able to see something amiss in the fountain. As someone who was all too familiar with dead bodies, it didn't take him long to realize that this girl is dead ( ... )

[Someone does happen to be nearby. One Atsuki Saijo on a midnight stroll but sensing a dark Shinen came down this w-- well no he just happened on the scene but sensed a strong residual Shinen once it was on there. First things first... he doesn't dare try to scan the corpse itself - the feeling of death is too strong - but in the surrounding area he's going to be reading the residual Shinen.

Not that this looks like much more than a teenage looking around to the other people here like say Jay. ALSO Jenny's player if you could throw me a bone with a small collection of Jenny's thought prior to death which would stand out enough to last "in the air" would be awesome if she would have any]

Jumping in sorry - But this wasn't the place of death, they're putting them out in places like this after killing them in the forest/rooftops/whatever. Not sure if it still works the same or not but /o/

Thank you, that helps and is important. There would still be a lingering residual Shinen around (ergo, "attached to") the body but there might not be anything from them specifically in that case.

[Grell's just chilling on the rooftops, watching the fountain down below and the obviously dead body of a girl he didn't know. He's got a smile on his face though, tapping a finger against his cheek as he watches people come and go.]

As I thought. Something interesting is happening.

[Sure is nice out tonight ain't it? Let's go out to the fountain to maybe see--

...holy shit a dead body WHAT. But in all seriousness, Reimu is not pleased. She frowns at the sight of it.]

Not something I'd expect to see while staying here.
