I haven't posted here in a very long time (as you can see) so I thought I would update on my life.  I've been blogging elsewhere but have neglected my LJ.

A friend of mine is expecting her 2nd child in December and had to have surgery to remove some cysts from her ovaries this week. The baby's fine but the surgery didn't go as planned and they had to take her right ovary in the process. She's pretty torn up about it and is in a lot of pain but is definitely thankful that the baby is fine ( Read more... )

God told me no today. I found out I didn't get the job I interviewed for on Monday. The principal there emailed me this morning. I'm trying to fight off the disappointment, holding tight to the peace that God just has a different plan for me. Sometimes it's hard to walk blindly but I'm glad to know someone loving and sovereign is leading the way.

OH I'm lovin' this.  I've been going to the gym.  A lot.  I've been getting my tail kicked with every single class I take but I LOVE it!!  I love it so much I'm even going back for a SECOND class tonight after I did one this morning!!  I'm not embarrassed cause I try hard and that's all that I can do.  Who ever would have thought that I'd love ( Read more... )

So this is going to be quick cause I'm a hot mess of sweaty nastiness.

Life's going well.  I've applied for a couple part time jobs at Starbucks and Bath and Body Works (yes, again).  We need some extra money so I am trying to get hired at one of the two places.  I'm hoping B&BW will hire me back so I don't have to do training junk.  I left w/o a 2 ( Read more... )
