That spell is a really creative idea! And you depict Ron's reactions very compellingly.
I myself simply ignore the spell check on lj, when it's being stupid about apostrophes (or other things I know were correct). I write in Word, do the spell check there, and just cut and paste. It seems to be fine.
Honestly, I'm not sure. I type out longer things in Word (because I've lost one too many posts that I typed in an open lj update box, and then lost the window for some reason and thus lost the text!).
I spell check there. And you do need to type in the html tags into word (for example < i > with no spaces). The Word formatting (indenting, italics, etc.) will be lost when you cut and paste into lj. But the text itself will not be, and you can ignore lj's spell checking, then.
I thought this was wonderful. I couldn't help but think: what if Harry and Snape crossed wands, and Snape wanted that child instead? He could feel that way out of some unrequited longing for Harry, or his mother, but that might be the child HE always dreamed of. What would that mean for Ron, in this instance?
This really stimulates the imagination, that's for sure!
I like this. Very interesting spell and very interesting reaction. I can see Ron and Snape wanting this child. And yes I can see them getting together to have this child too. I do think Ron would appreciate Snape more as an adult myself. The whole attitude Snape shows him is nowhere near as personal as the one he has towards Harry, none of that messy history there. It could be expanded into something big but the snippet we got is quite nice. Thanks for sharing!

Hey! How come that works for you and it wouldn't do it for me? Cause I gotta tell you, that first version before I Went and Learned Edit was not fine!

Thanks so much for this. You need an appropriate picture of Shaun White to go with it though.
